DETROIT — The SAE 2006 World Congress Career Fair will feature 12 companies looking to hire and discuss career opportunities in the automotive industry.
The career fair will take place April 3-4 at Cobo Center in Detroit. Honda R&D Americas, Nissan North America and Toyota are participating in the event, along with recruiters from the following companies: AISIN World Corp., CalsonicKansei North America, Delta Staffing, Federal Association of Financial Services, GE Plastics, INVISTA, L-3 Communications Electronic Systems, Motorola and Ricardo MEDA Technical Services.
The SAE 2006 World Congress will also feature the SAE PowerTrack Career Center, a place where employers and employees can browse open positions, post resumes and job openings, and network with other professionals. A free “Resume Critique Clinic” will be offered at the SAE PowerTrack Career Center on Monday, April 3 from 12-3 p.m. and Wednesday, April 5 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
An executive panel of speakers from BMW, AVL and Yazaki will provide tips on succeeding in the automotive industry at the Career Development Session in Cobo Center, Tuesday, April 4 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
