LAS VEGAS — WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, will host NASCAR legend Richard Petty for an autograph session in the Affinia booth No. 2638 from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, during AAPEX.
“WIX has enjoyed a 40-plus year relationship with Richard Petty that dates to our brand’s first season in NASCAR,” said Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters. “We are honored that Mr. Petty will be making an appearance in our booth during AAPEX.”
WIX has partnered with Richard Petty Motorsports multiple times during the past two years, with promotions and car sponsorships that have benefited both the brand and WIX’s loyal customers.
In October, the WIX Filters brand was incorporated into the familiar Petty Blue paint scheme on the No. 43 Ford Fusion for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In addition, the No. 43 car has toured the country as part of WIX’s “It’s Good to be the King” promotion, which rewarded stores with week-long local marketing campaigns and appearances by the No. 43 WIX/Petty Motorsports Sprint Cup car at their store. Winners of the promotion also traveled to Charlotte to watch the NASCAR Banking 500 from the King’s personal turn-one condo at Charlotte Motor Speedway with Richard Petty and Dale Inman, Petty’s longtime crew chief and NASCAR Hall of Fame nominee.
