mustang-photoThe restoration of the Raybestos 1969 Ford Mustang is now complete and the classic muscle car is ready to hit the road to show auto enthusiasts what all the buzz is about. Raybestos first kicked off the project in October 2015.

“Raybestos and Mustang are the perfect match of history, leadership and innovation, and that connection is evident in this one-of-a-kind classic car,” said Kristin Grons, marketing manager, Brake Parts Inc. “Jeff Schwartz and the team at Schwartz Performance have really outdone themselves. The Raybestos 1969 Mustang is a true masterpiece restored to all its glory.”

Raybestos teamed up with world-renowned Schwartz Performance to restore the Raybestos 1969 Mustang. Painted in classic Mustang colors and striping true to the time, the custom muscle car features a new Ford Coyote engine similar to the one found on the modern Boss 302. Schwartz Performance installed its famous “G-Machine” bolt-in chassis as well as an off-the-shelf performance disc brake upgrade package, using Raybestos components and Element3 brake pads with Enhanced Hybrid Technology (EHT).

“As we rebuilt the Raybestos ’69 Mustang, we partnered with the finest supplier partners, the best of the best,” said Grons. “When you consider the caliber of companies that came together for this restoration, it is very clear that the Raybestos 1969 Mustang is one outrageous muscle car.
