Rein Automotive Offers Vehicle Specific Coolant Hoses for European Makes

The new Rein Automotive Hose program meets a growing need for complex vehicle specific coolant hose assemblies used on late model European vehicles, according to CRP.

CRANBURY, N.J. — CRP Automotive has launched a new vehicle-specific coolant hose program for European makes. The new Rein Automotive Hose program meets a growing need for complex vehicle specific coolant hose assemblies used on late model European vehicles, according to CRP.

The new program includes a line of high-quality hose assemblies that are engineered to deliver the exact form, fit and function of the OE part. These hose systems feature integrated thermoplastic couplings, O-ring seals and multiple connections that branch out to various engine components.

CRP says the new Rein Automotive Hose program solves three key service issues: availability, cost and reliability. Until now, many of the hose system replacements now offered by Rein Automotive were only available through the OE dealer, and at a premium price. Some shops have been using the traditional "cut to fit" solution typically used for molded rubber hoses, but that has proven to be inadequate for the job, according to CRP. The thermoplastic couplings used on these assemblies typically use a single O-ring to seal the hose connection. Once the hose is removed, the O-ring is difficult to seal and is not always available as a spare part. Futhermore, the thermoplastic couplings can dry out and crack over time, creating a leak, which can result in vehicle overheating and cause extensive damage.

In addition to excellent coverage, Rein Automotive also provides training seminars and materials for shops and technicians, CRP notes. Rein Automotive distributes its parts from strategically located North American warehouses for quicker delivery.

Rein Automotive Hoses can be found on CRP’s online application catalog at www.reinautomotive.com or www.showmetheparts.com/crp/.
