Rancho Launches Three Performance Suspension Kits for Popular Wrangler TJ/LJ Series

The Rancho systems incorporate its Jeep heritage and engineering excellence into each design, according to Tenneco, maker of the Rancho brand.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Rancho, the well-known brand of off-road Jeeping and performance suspensions, has released three new suspension systems for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ series.

The Rancho systems incorporate its Jeep heritage and engineering excellence into each design, according to Tenneco, maker of the Rancho brand.

Rancho’s first option for the Wrangler TJ/LJ is the new 3.5-inch, short-arm suspension system (p/n RS6504), providing additional performance benefits and head-turning appearance to the popular Jeep models. The red-only kit includes specially engineered, high-articulation 2-inch, O.D. by 3/16-inch I.D. control arms with a patented bushing system that helps increase approach angles during off-road driving.

The new short-arm kit also includes a front adjustable track bar; new forged Pitman arm; rear track bar relocation bracket; and front and rear heavy duty springs. Fitting up to 35-inch tires, the system includes a transfer case shifter relocation bracket and drop-down spacers to allow for the use of factory drive-shafts; industry-leading front sway bar disconnect design; and new brake lines for increased articulation. No exhaust modifications are required to install the system.

Rancho also has launched two sport suspension systems for the TJ/LJ platform: a 3.5-inch kit that fits up to 35-inch tires (p/n RS6501) and a 2.5-inch kit that fits up to 32-inch tires (p/n RS6503). Both systems are available in a red finish only.

Each system includes rear track bar relocation bracket; new lower links; front and rear heavy duty springs; transfer case shifter relocation brackets and drop-down spacers to allow use of factory driveshafts. The install requires no exhaust modification.
