BOCA RATON, FL — An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, a private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies, has acquired Big 10 Tire Stores, Inc.

Headquartered in Mobile, AL, Big 10 is one of the largest independent tire dealers in Southeastern U.S. with 101 locations throughout Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Big 10 sells multiple types and brands of tires and provides a range of automotive maintenance and supply services including tires, oil change, battery and brake repair.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
