Philips Unveils New Line Of Premium Upgrade Headlamp Bulbs

Philips Upgrade Headlamp Bulbs allow drivers to choose the best level of light for their personal driving needs.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Philips Automotive has announced it is now offering a new range of upgrade headlight bulbs that deliver advanced technology and performance with a focus on safety and style. Philips Upgrade Headlamp Bulbs allow drivers to choose the best level of light for their personal driving needs.

Drivers can choose the level of lighting performance that best fits their driving needs and budget. In this range, Philips offers three lighting options: Philips Vision, which provides 30 percent more light, Philips VisionPlus offering 60 percent more light and Philips X-treme Vision, which can deliver up to 100 percent more light than a standard halogen headlight bulb, according to the company. Philips’ new premium upgrade headlight bulbs are designed to put more light on the road, so drivers can see obstacles and hazards sooner. This helps provide an extra margin of safety that drivers need, according to Philips.

According to Dennis Samfilippo, general manager, Philips Automotive, “Our new upgrade line represents a refinement of the Philips ‘go to market” strategy.’ After conducting extensive category management analysis and seeing the complex proliferation of bulbs on the market, we felt that our customers would benefit more by having simple choices, based on their lighting needs.”

Philips Vision and Philips VisionPlus are offered in 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, 9008/H13, H1, H3, H7 and H11 configurations. Philips X-treme Vision comes in 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, 9008/H13, H7 and H11. All Philips headlamp bulbs are DOT compliant and street legal.
