Philips Innovative Rechargeable LED Worklamp Delivers Portability and Powerful Lighting

The Philips Rechargeable LED Worklamp features 15 powerful LEDs that deliver 1,200 lux at up to 4.5 feet, and is equipped with an integrated UV light for A/C leak detection.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Philips Automotive Lighting North America offers a new cordless Rechargeable LED Worklamp that is designed specifically for automotive service shops and professional service technicians. This rechargeable LED Worklamp delivers a very powerful, bright white light in a compact, portable, and ergonomic design, the company says. In spite of new worklamp’s intense lighting power, it uses a minimal power consumption of 1.5 watts and remains cool to the touch.

The Philips Rechargeable LED Worklamp features 15 powerful LEDs that deliver 1,200 lux at up to 4.5 feet, and is equipped with an integrated UV light for A/C leak detection. It also comes with a retractable hook and a flexible magnetic clip-on bracket, which allows for easy mounting in convenient places around the work area such as fenders, hoods or undercar frames.

The LED Worklamp is powered by a high-performance battery that lasts up to six hours on a single charge. The LED Worklamp includes a rechargeable docking station that can fully charge the unit in less than 3.5 hours. It measures 9.1 by 2.3 by 2.2 inches and has an operating temperature of 4 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Philips Rechargeable LED Worklamp is ideal for everyday work environments, the company says. Unlike traditional worklamps that can break if bumped or dropped, the Philips LED Worklamp is very robust and highly impact resistant. It is designed to hold up to the most demanding in-shop use, and is also highly resistant to water, dust, chemicals and solvents.
