“We are excited to give away a brand new F-150 equipped with our Z-Rated Brake Kit. Someone will get to haul-away America’s most sought-after truck, upgraded with maximum braking performance,” said Nina Burgoon, marketing manager for Performance Friction. “We want to spread the news that Performance Friction Brakes are not just for race cars but for passenger cars, haul trucks, school buses, motorcycles, etc., and we have unbeatable product benefits that are unique to each of these markets.”

The 2012 Ford F-150 to be given away will be outfitted with a Performance Friction Z-Rated Brake Kit specifically designed to meet the ideal brake bias of the F-150. The kit includes Z-Rated 6-piston front calipers and Z-Rated 4-piston rear calipers with multi-pad technology, dimpled V2 rotors and Carbon Metallic brake pads, which equates to more stopping power, longer pad life, longer disc life and quieter operation, according to the company. The entire installation of the Z-Rated Brake Kit on the 2012 Ford F-150 will be documented and posted on the PFC website.
