Pareto Point Industries to License its Automatic Oil Management Technology to Engineered Machined Products

Engineered Machined Products (EMP), a leading developer and producer of engine thermal and oil management systems, has entered into an agreement with Pareto Point Industries (PPI) to exclusively license PPI's patented oil management system known as APLS (Automatic Pulsed Lubrication System). ESCABA, MI — Engineered Machined Products (EMP), a leading developer and producer of engine thermal and oil management systems, has entered into an agreement with Pareto Point Industries (PPI) to exclusively license PPI’s patented oil management system known as APLS (Automatic Pulsed Lubrication System). Pareto Point Industries engages in the research and development of engine thermal and oil management and advanced filtration systems.

APLS utilizes a software-driven controller and advanced filtration system to provide automatic and on-demand programs and routines to promote cleaner-running and longer lived engines. The system is compatible with any engine and, according to PPI President Adan Reinosa, it will become even more robust with the advancement of electric oil pump technology.

APLS can provide automatic engine priming, post-lubrication and thermal management. According to David Allen, EMP’s EVP of Product Development, these features make APLS distinct among the many competing oil management and oil bypass filtration systems. “Coupled with EMP’s electric pump and our Advanced Filters, the system is an ideal and preferred choice for our customers,” Allen said.
