Filchner, an outside sales representative at Walnutport Auto Parts in Walnutport, PA, is the ninth individual to receive this special parts professional honor within the NAPA organization. Filchner, an ASE P2 certified Automotive Parts Specialist, has more than 20 years experience in the automotive industry. His credentials and certifications from NAPA Autotech and NAPA manufacturers’ schools and clinics include heating and cooling, paint, brake and chassis, filtration, electrical and fuel injection. Filchner has also homed his selling skills and industry knowledge by completing NAPA SalesPRO, NAPA SalesMASTER, FastTrack Parts Professional LAPs and Vin Waterhouse training courses.
Identifix Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Identifix was incorporated in August 1987, and went live with the repair hotline on January 2, 1988, with four employees. Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper hosted its seventh annual National Advisory Councils for its parts stores and certified service centers on Sept. 19-20, in San Antonio, TX. The purpose of the Advisory Councils is for council members to examine the industry within their own markets, review national programs and help plan for the future.
