To address the rapid expansion of the Chinese aftermarket, the China Aftermarket Forum (CAF) of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) worked with TecDoc, a leading electronic parts cataloging provider in Europe, to develop an electronic parts catalog system for China’s aftermarket. The cooperative project began in early 2007, and the first data entry training was held in Shanghai and was attended by TRW, Hella, Tenneco, SKF and Federal-Mogul.

DuPont Raises Outlook for 2007, 2008

Citing strong fourth-quarter results and prospects for growth in emerging markets, chemical maker DuPont on Wednesday raised its earning outlook for 2007 as well as its profit forecast for 2008. Visteon and 3M have announced a global advanced technology collaboration unveiled yesterday at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
