Camilla Denison is president of Champion Laboratories, Inc., a business unit of United Components. She joined the company in 2005, after an extensive career with such companies as General Motors, ITT Automotive, Visteon Corp. and Textron Fastening Systems, from which she retired before reaching the age of 40. Denison came out of retirement to join Alemite Corp., where she served as CEO before joining Champion. Today, Denison shares with us a little background on how values, ethics and business strategies have grown Champ Labs from a small, entrepreneurial business into a global success story.

Michael, Marco Andretti to Drive in 2006 Indy 500

Not one, but two Andrettis, will be back in the driver’s seat in the Indianapolis 500 this May. Indy legend Michael Andretti and his son Marco have announced they will compete in the 90th Indianapolis 500 on May 28, 2006, as teammates with Andretti Green Racing (AGR). Marco Andretti also will drive for AGR in the entire 2006 IndyCar Series season.

DuPont and Hendrick Motorsports Extend NASCAR Sponsorship

DuPont and Hendrick Motorsports have announced the extension of DuPont’s longstanding sponsorship of the #24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. The new pact builds on an association launched 13 years ago with 21-year-old rookie driver named Jeff Gordon. Under the new contract, DuPont continues as the primary sponsor for three years, through the 2008 racing season, with the option to extend for an additional two years. Financial terms were not disclosed.
