Amazon’s Steve Frazier to Return for 2007 eForum

A panel of industry experts, including Steve Frazier of Amazon.com, will look at “eMarketing 2.0” during the 2007 Aftermarket eForum, which will take place July 16-18 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. The panel discussion on eMarketing will provide attendees with expertise on how to design an eMarketing campaign that will produce a positive return on investment. The seminar will look in-depth at localized eMarketing, social network sites and book marking sites. The session is being facilitated by Dan Jondron of Advanced Digital Strategies and Alan Dicker of SEMA. Other panelists include Luanne Brown of eTool Developers and Gigi Ho of Digital Performance.

Amazon.com Launches New Automotive Parts and Accessories Store

Amazon.com has announced the grand opening of its Automotive Parts and Accessories Store (http://www.amazon.com/auto), which features more than 1 million new, used and remanufactured parts from leading parts and accessories manufacturers. A key feature of Amazon’s new Automotive Store is a Part Finder, that allowing owners of approximately 10,000 different American car and truck models to simply enter the year, make and model of a car into the Part Finder to find items that fit their specified vehicles. Leveraging Amazon’s unique technology platform for auto part data, the Part Finder enables third-party data providers and retailers to share part and vehicle information that helps Amazon customers make informed buying decisions.
