Auto-Wares to Acquire Certified Automotive Warehouse and Lee Auto Parts
Grand Rapids, MI-based distributor Auto-Wares, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire Certified Automotive warehouse and the Lee Parts Stores of Chicago. The new name for Certified will be Auto-Wares Illinois, while the Lee stores will retain their name. Phill Porpora, previously president of Lee Auto Parts, will now become the new president of Auto-Ware Illinois.
WIX Filters Named Vendor of the Year by Auto-Wares Inc.
WIX Filters earned top honors at the recent Auto-Wares 2006 Annual Marketing Conference, with the filter manufacturer receiving the prestigious Vendor of the Year Award for outstanding overall performance. Two WIX Filters representatives, John Rozegnal and Ric Bainter, also were recognized, sharing the award for Outstanding Field Representation of the Year. Bainter, district manager for Wisconsin, also received the award in 2005.
