Driven Brands Charitable Foundation Raises More Than $650,000 In 2016
The Driven Brands family of automotive aftermarket brands – including Take 5 Oil Change, Maaco, Meineke Car Care Centers, Merlin 200,000 Mile Shops, Econo Lube N’ Tune, Pro Oil, CARSTAR, Drive N Style and 1-800-Radiator & A/C, raised the funds at national conventions and during several events throughout the year including golf tournaments, collection drives, charitable walks, silent auctions and in-store promotions.
Industry ‘Celebrities’ Record Promotional Videos On Behalf Of Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation
The videos will be used at AACF events and presentations, shown during industry events like AAPEX/SEMA, and made available for public consumption via the Foundation website at aacfi.org.

AACF has reported net funds of more than $500,000 raised from the golf event – a new record. Diamond-level sponsors for the tournament were Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, Interstate Batteries, O’Reilly Auto Parts and NAPA.

In addition to the gifts for the children at Levine, the DBCF also “adopted” a family in need in the Charlotte area this holiday. The Foundation was able to purchase clothes, toys, household items, holiday decorations, as well as gift cards for food and gas. The event will take place with a “shotgun” start at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, just off The Strip at the Las Vegas Country Club. All proceeds help fund the foundation’s work as the industry’s only charitable organization dedicated to helping aftermarket industry workers at their most critical time of need.
