Pronto Holds Successful Spring Shareholder’s Conference in Atlanta

National Pronto Association held its Spring Shareholder’s Conference April 8-10 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Ga. Despite tornado damage to the hotel and the downtown Atlanta area, more than 60 warehouse distributor shareholders and more than 70 vendor partners attended the three-day meeting. This meeting was primarily structured as one-on-one sessions between shareholders and suppliers, whereby the supplier had the opportunity to host up to 15 sessions over a two-day period. All together 900 one-on-one meetings took place.

Pace Edwards Presents Annual Awards to Industry Partners

Pace Edwards, retractable truck bed cover manufacturer, presented its annual awards at the 2007 SEMA Show in November. Meyer Distributing received the Pace Edwards U.S. Warehouse Distributor of the Year award for its increase in overall sales volume. United Components Reports Results of Operations for Fourth Quarter 2006

United Components, Inc. (UCI) has announced results for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2006. Revenue of $222.7 million increased $31.8 million compared to the year-ago quarter. The quarter included $20.5 million in sales by water pump manufacturer ASC Industries, which was acquired by UCI during the second quarter. On a comparable basis (excluding ASC sales), the company reported revenue increases in the retail and heavy duty channels, a decline in the OEM channel, with sales flat in the traditional and original equipment service channels.
