Penda Truck Accessories Names New VP of Marketing and Sales

Mike Deckard has been appointed vice president of marketing and sales for Penda Truck Accessories, which manufactures truck bedliners, tonneaus and other vehicle accessories. Deckard, who joined Penda in 1996, most recently served as the brand’s national sales manager. Deckard was appointed national sales manager for Penda in 2004 after having overseen sales for the company’s North Division for several years. He reports to Penda Corp. President and CEO Ulf Buergel.

CARS Increases Lineup of Management Seminars for 2005

The Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) has increased its lineup of management seminars for 2005, emphasizing the need for continuing education in the competitive automotive service industry. CARS 2005 will be held Nov. 3-5 at The Mirage in Las Vegas. All five of the management seminars are approved by the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) and qualify for AMI credit.
