GAAS Board Votes To Defer 2015 Event

The first GAAS event was held in the fall of 1996 and quickly became the premier industry conference for senior-level aftermarket executives. For the past eight years, GAAS has been held each May in Chicago. The net proceeds of the event have been used to fund industry scholarships for students studying for careers in the automotive aftermarket.

New AAPEX General Session Will Provide Scholarships

The new Wednesday morning General Session at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) will provide a fundraising platform for AAPEX to make a donation for scholarships, traditionally generated by the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS). The announcement by AAPEX owners, the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), coincides with the GAAS board of directors’ decision to defer the 2015 GAAS event.
