SOLON, OH — Solon, Ohio-based Anchor Industries has selected 21st Century Graphic Technologies and Omnitek Information Systems to provide the company with a new database management system. Anchor Industries will be outfitted with 21st Century’s/Omnitek’s Computerized Automotive Research System, also known as CARS.
Commenting on the company’s choice of providers, Bob Kaplar, catalog manager for Anchor Industries said, “We researched and requested bids from a number of vendors for a database system that would allow us to maintain our data, provide accurate information for e-Cat vendors and publication output, provide future expandability for additional product lines and PIES information, and 21st Century’s/Omnitek’s CARS (Computerized Automotive Research System) was the best fit.”
Anchor Industries was interested in ACES output for its e-cat providers. 21st Century/Omnitek’s system is built on the ACES platform.
Kaplar added, “All the features in CARS were exactly what we were looking for. The one feature that stands out the most is the ‘Holes Report’ that’s generated from the CARS software. This unique feature was not available from any other vendor.”
