Old World Industries Launches Final Charge Pro-Series

According to the company, this advanced technology delivers cooling system protection for 1.5 million miles.

Old World Industries, manufacturer of Final Charge Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant, has announced the launch of new Final Charge Pro-Series with an advanced and proprietary technology engineered to deliver the highest level of performance for today’s heavy-duty engines. Its stabilized Phosphate enhanced Organic Acid Technology (POAT) corrosion inhibitors provide fast-acting, long-lasting protection to all cooling system metals including Controlled Atmosphere Brazed (CAB) and cast aluminum components.

“Old World Industries is always working on technological innovations for its product-lines,” said Old World CEO, Greg Noethlich. “The new Final Charge Pro-Series Heavy-Duty Antifreeze/Coolant line continues that legacy with an advanced technology that delivers industry leading cooling system protection for 1.5 million miles through a proprietary formula that prevents deposit formation while maximizing heat transfer in heavy duty applications.”

Final Charge Pro-Series Antifreeze/Coolant is free of nitrite and 2-ethylhexanoic acid and is compatible with all system gaskets and hose materials. The company says with proper maintenance†, Final Charge Pro-Series Antifreeze/Coolant delivers guaranteed cooling system protection for 1.5 million miles, 10 years, or 36,000 hours, whichever comes first, without the use of Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCAs) and is formulated for all medium and heavy-duty diesel, gasoline, and natural gas engine applications.

Old World’s Chief Technical Officer, John Turney, stated, “As engine systems increase in complexity and become more energy efficient, our team is dedicated to developing advanced functional fluid technologies, which enable these engine platforms to achieve their optimum performance.  FINAL CHARGE® PRO-SERIES is engineered with rapid corrosion inhibitors to provide enhanced corrosion protection to modern light, medium and heavy-duty applications and when integrated with the proper combination of organic additives and a proprietary surfactant, provides long-lasting protection of critical cooling system components.”
