NUCAP Acquires Brake Align Inc.

Brake Align Inc., located in Ashland, Va., is the manufacturer of the Brake Align Runout Correction Plate.

TORONTO, Ontario – NUCAP Industries announced today that it has acquired Brake Align Inc. located in Ashland, Va., manufacturer of the Brake Align Runout Correction Plate.
 
“Brake Align is a welcome addition for NUCAP. The innovative Brake Align product ensures brake system performance, durability and safety, which is core to our culture. This product line will enhance NUCAP’s ability to provide our customers with the most comprehensive line of innovative product solutions,” said Ray Arbesman, CEO and chairman of NUCAP.
 
The Brake Align Runout Correction Plate is a simple, cost-effective solution to bring vehicles with out-of-tolerance brake lateral runout back into specification. As OE brake systems are being introduced with increasingly tighter specifications, measuring and adjusting for lateral runout is a key factor in performing a comeback-free brake service. Brake Align plates are installed between the hub and brake rotor, which allows for lateral runout of up to .006” over specification to be corrected.
