NRS Brakes Adds New Part Numbers Covering 1.2M Vehicles

The five new part numbers cover 2023-2006 Acura, Honda, Infiniti, Nissan, Mazda, and Fiat vehicle models.

NRS Brakes Aug 2023 new products

NRS Brakes has added five new part numbers for 2023-2006 Acura, Honda, Infiniti, Nissan, Mazda, and Fiat vehicles covering 1.2 million vehicles in its galvanized brake pad product line. The brake kits also include abutment hardware and caliper piston cushions.

Canadian-made galvanized brake pads by NRS Brakes feature galvanized steel that incorporates patented NRS friction attachment technology. The result is a quiet, safe and long-lasting brake pad, the company said. Galvanized steel outlasts the friction, ensuring it won’t fail as a result of corrosion material delamination from the backing plate, the company said.

NRS Brakes feature no glue, no paint and no toxins. In addition, they use OE-specified technology for all galvanized brake pads, the company said.

PHINIA Inc. reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024.

First Quarter Highlights:

U.S. GAAP net sales of $863 million, an increase of 3.4% compared with Q1 2023.

Excluding $17 million of contract manufacturing sales, sales were up slightly compared to Q1 2023. Favorable pricing and currency were partially offset by lower commercial vehicle sales in Europe.
