NPW Reports Impressive Turnout for Inaugural CARS Expo

More than 2,000 automotive enthusiasts, retailers, technicians and wholesalers attended the event, which opened with the Oakland Raiders' "Raiderettes" greeting customers and posing for photos with fans and raffle winners.

MIAMI, Fla. – Roughly 100 of the country’s leading suppliers of replacement and performance products packed 44,000 square feet of space at the Santa Clara Convention Center on April 1 for the first-ever California Automotive – Racing and Specialty (CARS) Expo, sponsored by National Performance Warehouse (NPW).
 
More than 2,000 automotive enthusiasts, retailers, technicians and wholesalers attended the event, which opened with the Oakland Raiders’ "Raiderettes" greeting customers and posing for photos with fans and raffle winners. Twelve prizes were awarded each hour of the show, with a 51-inch Samsung TV given away on the hour. The show ended with a grand prize drawing of a five-day cruise on Carnival’s Inspiration. There were 120 custom, restored or exotic vehicles on display as well.
 
On March 31, a reception was held for suppliers and special guests, where awards including Rep of the Year, Supplier of the Year and Performance and Traditional Retailers of the Year were presented. Added this year to NPW’s annual recognition was a Hall of Fame category to honor individuals for their contributions to Speed Warehouse and the industry as a whole.
