NGK Spark Plugs YouTube Channel Tops 1 Million Views

WIXOM, Mich. — NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. has reported that as of Aug. 13 the company’s YouTube channel, NGKsparkplugsusa, has been viewed more than 1 million times.
 
NGK Spark Plugs established its public YouTube presence in 2008. The channel hosts 26 videos, consisting mostly of technical-themed videos. Tips and tutorials range from how to correctly check, set and gap a spark plug, to the most popular video titled, “Oxygen Sensor Diagnosis and Replacement Simplified,” which has amassed close to 400,000 views.
 
“YouTube has become the ultimate library for the consumer to learn how to repair virtually anything you can imagine. With so many videos to choose from, manufacturers of OEM products have instant credibility with the consumers,” said Mark Sprague, corporate marketing manager of NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. “Our fans crave technical information from the source — our YouTube channel offers us a creatively simple, yet effective, way to give them just that.”
