NGK Spark Plugs Launches Picture Promotion on Facebook

NGK encourages fans to share pictures of their rides to compete for the "NGK My Ride is Cooler than Your Ride Madness" grand prize.

WIXOM, Mich. – The NGK “My Ride is Cooler than Your Ride Madness” promotion is set to launch March 1. The promotion will include a month-long picture competition, where fans are able to nominate their own rides to enter into the competition.          
 
Once the self-nomination period ends, the first round of voting will begin on March 12. Fans will vote on their favorite Top 16 entries, Top 8 and so on, until it’s a head-to-head competition.
 
The Facebook promotion focuses on pictures of rides uploaded by fans, with a grand-prize of a Richard Petty Driving Experience. The winner of the month-long competition will be announced on Monday, April 2.
 
NGK Spark Plugs encourages fans to upload pictures of their rides online at www.facebook.com/NGKsparkplugs.  
 
NGK Spark Plug’s Facebook page has more than 133,000 fans, a true testament to their fan loyalty, according to Corporate Marketing Manager Mark Sprague.
 
“We couldn’t wait to get this promotion running, mostly as a thank you to our fans,” Sprague said. “Our fans show us every day how much they live, breathe and drive NGK, and what better way to show our support of them than to offer a great prize and bragging rights, of course!”
