Bosch Unveils New Packaging For Evolution Wiper Blades; Adds Two New Blade Lengths

Bosch Evolution WipersLAS VEGAS – Robert Bosch LLC has launched a brand new look for its line of Bosch Evolution Wiper Blades and added two new blade lengths – 13-inch and 15-inch – to the program.

The new Evolution packaging design has been created to capture consumer attention through the use of bright color and dramatic imagery that together make for a strong presence on retail shelves, according to Bosch. In addition, the new design incorporates the Bosch logo family look for continuity across all Bosch Wiper Blade lines.

“Bosch has been closely associated with major developments in wiper blade technology for more than 80 years,” said Martin Kashnowski, director, product management, Wiper Systems, Robert Bosch LLC Automotive Aftermarket NA. “Bosch Evolution Wiper Blades use our patented beam technology to deliver exceptional all-weather visibility. Over the years, motorists have come to trust Bosch Wiper Blades to help them to drive safely no matter what the weather.”

Beam or “bracketless” blades, as they are sometimes called, are designed without the metal brackets, joints or hinges found on conventional wiper blades. This design affords improved winter wiping performance as there is no place for ice and snow to build up.

Beam technology applies uniform wiper arm pressure along the entire length of the blade that results in consistently clean and quiet performance in all weather conditions. An integrated, symmetrical wind spoiler helps hold the blade to the windshield to resist lift-off at high speeds.

A total of 21 part numbers – including the new 13-inch and 15-inch blade lengths – provides 97 percent coverage of U.S. vehicles in operation, including domestic, Asian and European makes and models.

The Bosch Evolution line of wiper blades also includes OE specialty wiper blades in 17-inch through 28-inch lengths for a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.

“With its patented original equipment-style beam blade design and exclusive graphite-blended natural rubber wiping edge, Bosch Evolution Wiper Blades offer a technology and performance upgrade for vehicles with conventional wiper blades,” Kashnowski said.
