BETHESDA, Md. The best examples of automotive cataloging, in a variety of media, were recently recognized at the 37th Annual Knowledge Exchange Conference of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) in San Antonio, Texas. More than 275 individuals were on-hand for the NCMA Catalog Excellence Awards Luncheon at the conclusion of three days of networking, education and professional development.
Mark Richardson, NCMA president from Falcon Steering Systems, said, “We were overwhelmed by the participation in the conference and are pleased to recognize the very best examples of work in our profession. Congratulations to all of the award winners.”
The NCMA President’s Award for Catalog Excellence is judged by a panel of peers for the best examples of cataloging in print, CD-ROM and Web catalogs. This year the Platinum award winners were:
Print Catalog – CARDONE Industries for its 2010 Automotive Brake catalog;
CD Catalog – Affinia Under Vehicle Group for the Raybestos Brake eSelect catalog; and
Web Catalog – Affinia Under Vehicle Group for the Raybestos Brake website.
Electronic Data Excellence Awards are presented by the leading aftermarket data receivers to the suppliers that consistently provide the highest quality electronic applications data. This year the Platinum award winners were:
Activant Solutions recognized IAP/Dura International;
Advance Auto Parts recognized Robert Bosch for Purolator Filters;
AutoZone recognized Dorman Products;
CARQUEST recognized Gates Corp.;
NAPA recognized BBB Industries;
O’Reilly Auto Parts recognized CARDONE Industries; and
WHI Solutions recognized Affinia Under Vehicle Group for Raybestos.
