Multi Parts Supply Expands Chinese Operations

Multi Parts Supply Inc. (MPS) a multinational product development, engineering and supply chain management organization, recently announced the expansion of its technical center, assembly and distribution facility in Pingyang, China. The facility is being built as a Zhejiang government-private partnership in a high-tech industrial park with more than 1 million square feet of building are. MPS will initially occupy 100,000 square feet.

JUPITER, FL — Multi Parts Supply Inc. (MPS) a multinational product development, engineering and supply chain management organization, recently announced the expansion of its technical center, assembly and distribution facility in Pingyang, China. The facility is being built as a Zhejiang government-private partnership in a high-tech industrial park with more than 1 million square feet of building are. MPS will initially occupy 100,000 square feet.

The new facility will house MPS’ test laboratory, quality control department, light assembly and packaging operation. The park will also provide dormitories and a kitchen for staff. Completion of the facility is slated for December.

Multi Parts Supply has its North American headquarters and technical and quality control laboratory in Jupiter, FL, and maintains sales offices in New York and Europe. The company’s Asian headquarters is in Taipei, Taiwan, with engineering, development and logistics support in Zhuhai, China. MPS currently employs more than 50 people globally and plans to more than double its staff as the new facilities become operational.

Construction is also underway on the company’s new technical and quality control facility located in Florida, which is expected to be completed in early 2007.
