Morpho Announces Agreements To Form Business And Capital Alliance With DENSO Corp.

The business alliance agreement will advance collaborative research and development of technologies for advanced safety and comfort driving, based on "Deep Neural Network” technology, or “deep learning.”

Morpho - LogoMorpho Inc. and DENSO Corp. have entered into business and capital alliance agreements. The business alliance agreement will advance collaborative research and development of technologies for advanced safety and comfort driving, based on “Deep Neural Network” technology, or “deep learning.”

Under this agreement, DENSO will provide a wide variety of automotive products and technologies to minimize environmental impact and traffic accidents, while increasing people’s comfort and convenience. Morpho and DENSO have signed a joint research and development agreement to advance collaborative research of products to realize advanced safety drive. Under this agreement, the two companies will:

  • Co-develop an advanced image recognition technology based on “deep learning” to promote state-of-art safety driving.
  • Co-develop the image recognition technology and image enhancement technology for DENSO’s future products. This includes electronic mirror, front/back camera and monitor and others.

Morpho and DENSO will jointly market products and services derived from the business alliance.

In connection with the business alliance, Morpho and DENSO have entered into a capital alliance agreement, under which DENSO will acquire all the newly-issued shares of Morpho.
