Minimizer Selected As Finalist For 2016 Manufacturing Awards

Minimizer has been named one of three finalists for the Best in Class – Midsize Company category for the Minnesota Business magazine’s awards.

Minnesota Business magazine has selected Minimizer as a finalist for its 2016 Manufacturing Awards. Minimizer has been named one of three finalists for the Best in Class – Midsize Company category.

Minimizer - LogoEach year, Minnesota Business recognizes the manufacturing sector for outstanding achievements. The magazine says the industry and its leaders represent a significant indicator of the country’s economic health. This year, the panel of judges chose the finalists from its largest group of applicants ever.

When Dick Kruckeberg founded Minimizer in 1984, he started it with the ambition to manufacture a better truck fender. The company says it is now an international powerhouse in the heavy-duty aftermarket truck parts industry. The portfolio of Minimizer products has steadily grown beyond the best fenders and bracket kits in the industry. The Minimizer brand is now found on light kits, mud flaps, toolboxes, tire masks, workbenches and other accessories. The company’s most recent innovations include custom-molded floor mats for semi trucks and the “whole body” Minimizer truck seat system.

Craig Kruckeberg, Minimizer’s CEO and chief visionary, said, “The success story of Minimizer has been built on our commitment to family and community and every member of our team who continues to lead this company. I’m really proud of our employees who guide us toward success with our products, our distributors and throughout the trucking industry.”

Winners in each category will be announced at an awards event to be held at ARIA on Sept. 29. Both winners and finalists will be honored in the feature story of the all-manufacturing October 2016 issue of Minnesota Business magazine.
