RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Spaces are filling up quickly for MEMA’s second annual Legislative Summit taking place Wednesday and Thursday, June 8-9, in Washington, D.C.
Automotive and heavy duty suppliers are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to mingle with members of Congress and discuss a range of important issues, including the rising costs of steel and other raw materials, pension and health care reform.
The Summit will begin on Wednesday, June 8, with a Congressional Reception and Supplier Fair on Capitol Hill. On Thursday, June 9, events will include a legislative briefing, visits with individual members of Congress and a special luncheon to present this year’s Industry Champion award to Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.).
Members are urged to register for this important industry event as soon as possible. It is crucial to show industry support and ensure that the automotive and heavy duty supplier voices are heard on Capitol Hill.
