Melling Honored with Jasper Engines Preferred Partner Award

JASPER, IN — Jasper Engines & Transmissions named Melling Engine Parts a Preferred Partner of 2006. The award was presented during the Jasper Engines & Transmissions 20th Annual Preferred Partners Banquet on March 21.

The Jasper Engines & Transmissions Preferred Partner Award is presented annually to recognize the company’s Partners in Success. Recipients are nominated by an individual within the Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing or Payables divisions of the Jasper organization and are judged on quality, service, fill-rate, response time to a problem and billing/credit procedures, among other criteria. Approval from all of the above mentioned divisions is required for selection as a Preferred Partner.

Melling was one of only six recipients of the award for 2006 and this is the second time Melling has been recognized by Jasper as a Preferred Partner.

CEO Mark Melling, Company President David Dent, VP of Sales and Marketing Marion Holt, Engineer Mike Osterhaus, and Eastern Regional Sales Manager Michael Tierney, were all in attendance to accept the award.
