MAT Holdings And Honeywell Reach Licensing Agreement

MAT Holdings is granted an exclusive license for the use of the BENDIX trademark on automotive braking products to be sold in the United States.

LONG GROVE, Ill. – MAT Holdings Inc., a global manufacturer and distributor of products in the automotive, hardware and power equipment sectors, and Honeywell, a Fortune 100 diversified technology and manufacturing leader, have reached an agreement under which MAT Holdings is granted an exclusive license for the use of the BENDIX trademark on automotive braking products to be sold in the United States.

As a major manufacturer in the brake business, MAT Holdings says it is well-positioned to maintain the strong position and serve the future interests of U.S. BENDIX customers through a licensing agreement with Honeywell.

“MAT Holdings is thrilled to have the opportunity to write the next chapter in the long history of the BENDIX brand in the U.S.,” said George Ruhl, chief operating officer of MAT Holdings. “We look forward to building long-lasting relationships with our existing and new customers in the automotive aftermarket sector by leveraging the strength of our existing portfolio of automotive parts and the BENDIX trademark.”
