Marangoni Opens Its First U.S. Manufacturing Plant

Marangoni Tread North America Inc. hosted an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on June 17 to celebrate the opening of the company’s first U.S. plant, located in Madison, Tenn. Sixteen North American Ringtread dealers, officials from the State of Tennessee and Nashville and executives from the parent company, Marangoni S.p.A., located in Verona, Italy, attended the event. Executives in attendance included Gianni Marangoni, president, Massimo De Alessandri, CEO, and Giuseppe Ferrari, divisional general manager.

MADISON, Tenn. — Marangoni Tread North America Inc. hosted an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on June 17 to celebrate the opening of the company’s first U.S. plant, located in Madison, Tenn. Sixteen North American Ringtread dealers, officials from the State of Tennessee and Nashville and executives from the parent company, Marangoni S.p.A., located in Verona, Italy, attended the event. Executives in attendance included Gianni Marangoni, president, Massimo De Alessandri, CEO, and Giuseppe Ferrari, divisional general manager.

In all, approximately 100 people attended the event held at the new 50,000-square foot manufacturing plant. Marangoni Tread North America will establish its headquarters office at the facility and will showcase permanent displays of dealer manufacturing equipment and finished products.

Also at the open house, Ringtread dealers saw the AlphaRING process for the first time. The Ringtread precure tire tread is used for retreading of commercial truck tires and was previously only manufactured in Italy and Brazil.
