Boston Red Sox outfielder and all-star Manny Ramirez will help promote American Car Care Centers (ACCC) of New England as part of a new agreement he signed with Summit Tire of Mass and Continental Tire North America.
The deal covers the remainder of the 2008 baseball season.
Summit Tire said Ramirez will appear in a radio campaign on WBZ NewsRadio 1030 promoting safe driving in addition to promoting Continental tires.
“Manny Ramirez, like many of our dealers is a huge car buff. It only made sense to work with him to promote American Car Care Centers while promoting a ‘getting home safe’ campaign for the summer,” said Ben Kravitz, president of Summit Tire and chairman of the board for ACCC.
