MAM Software Redesigns OpenWebs B2B Tire Display

MAM’s e-commerce software for the automotive aftermarket features new responsive design for easy viewing on mobile devices.

MAM - PlatformsMAM Software has redesigned the Tire Display in its Openwebs B2B e-commerce software for easier searching and ordering on mobile devices. OpenWebs’ Tire Display will be MAM’s first catalog to feature “responsive design.” Responsive design allows the display to automatically re-adjust for easy viewing on both desktop computers or smartphones and tablets without installing a separate “app.”

OpenWebs connects tire and auto service stations with their customers, providing online ordering for lower costs and increased productivity. Customers access the system using standard web browser software (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Safari) that displays options like order history look-up, customer messaging, inquiry and ordering, accounts receivable and statement access.

“Businesses need to function on-the-go, which means you can’t always work at stationary computers,” said John Fischer, vice president of sales and marketing for MAM Software. “We see more and more companies incorporating mobile strategies into their business, so we’re making that transition easier by enhancing our software with mobile-friendly features.”

MAM says all OpenWebs catalogs and screens will be incorporating responsive design in the near future. The new release also will feature an update to the Tire Fitment Guide: Tire lookups will display whether TPMS and/or run-flat tires were OE on the vehicle.
