Magnum Gaskets Expands Production Capability With New Florida Facility

Hundreds of guests are expected to attend a Magnum Open House at the new plant later in 2012.

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Due to the success of its recently introduced, premium-quality aftermarket gasket line, Magnum Gaskets says it is doubling its design, manufacturing and packaging space by relocating to a new facility in Pinellas Park, Fla. For nearly 20 years, Magnum’s parent company, Modern Silicone Technologies Inc. (MSI), has been manufacturing valve cover, oil pan and manifold gaskets for major aftermarket brands and OE service at their plant in Clearwater, Fla.

“We needed a facility that could keep up with our design advances and expanded product line,” said Alex Grunfeld, vice president at Magnum Automotive Group. “With 125,000 square feet under one roof, we’re better prepared to deliver the cutting-edge technology and world-class quality for today’s aftermarket. Being on a large parcel of open land, there is room to grow beyond that, if needed.”

More than 90 percent of Magnum products are designed, manufactured and packaged in the U.S. The complete Magnum Gasket line covers more than 80 percent of sales in manifold, valve cover and oil pan gasket categories for domestic and import cars and light trucks, at very competitive prices, the company says.  Gasket sets contain everything the technician will need for a successful repair and every part meets or exceeds OEM standards. Sets are packaged in durable boxes with informative tri-lingual labels and installation guides.
