Aurora, Ontario — Magna International Inc., Canada’s largest auto-parts maker, is aiming to double its sales to Japanese carmakers to 12 percent of total sales in two to three years, according to president Mark Hogan, who shared this at a Tokyo news conference.
The Aurora, Ontario, company had total sales of $18 billion in 2003, up 10 percent from a year ago.
Magna, the world’s sixth largest auto-parts maker, has been increasing its sales annually by an average 21 percent since 1994, the company said. Magna aims to lessen its dependence on North America and Europe.
