MACS Elects Officers for 2008 Board of Directors

LANSDALE, PA — The board of directors of the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide elected officers for the 2008 term during the MACS 28th annual Convention and Trade Show, held last week at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL.

Elected by the board as chairman and chief executive officer was Andy Fiffick, owner of Rad-Air Complete Car Care in Cleveland, OH. David Jack of Denso Corp., Long Beach, CA, was elected by the board to be vice chairman. Elected treasurer for the Society was Jim Atkinson, president of Car Repair Co., Scottsdale, AZ. Nancy Krancz, owner of California Auto Refrigeration, Anaheim, CA, was elected secretary. Serving as past chairman is Michael Deese, president of Santech Industries in Ft. Worth, TX.

The MACS Worldwide board of directors is made up of 13 volunteer members, four each from the service, distribution and manufacturing sections of membership plus the immediate past chairman. MACS holds open elections annually for two members from each section or half the board of directors.
