MACS ACTION Magazine Honored with Three Hermes Awards

LANSDALE, PA — MACS ACTION magazine has been honored with three Hermes Creative Awards. The May, 2006 issue of ACTION, with an editorial focus on refrigerants, was honored in the magazine category with a gold award. The article, SAE in Phoenix, from the September /October 2006 issue received a platinum award in the technical writing category and the ongoing column, Expansion Valve, written by MACS ACTION editor Jim Taylor received an honorable mention.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. These awards are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence.

ACTION magazine has been recognized 26 times in the last six years with editorial and graphic design achievement awards. ACTION is the journal of record for the professional in the growing mobile air conditioning industry and mature heat transfer industry and is published by the leading forum in the industry the Mobile Air Conditioning Society, (MACS) Worldwide.
