Lund International, A Portfolio Company Of Highlander Partners, Acquires The Assets Of Rampage Products

BUFORD, Ga. – Lund International Holding Co., a portfolio company of Highlander Partners L.P., has acquired all of the operating assets of Rampage Products LLC.

Based in Corona, Calif., Rampage is a major player in the Jeep, light truck and SUV market. The company’s products include soft tops, bumpers, step bars, stone guards and other exterior and interior accessories.

Operations will continue to be conducted from the Corona facility and led by Rampage’s Jeff Beckman and Mike Deschenes, who will both join the Lund International team.

Beckman commented, “We are excited to partner with Lund International to continue to grow Rampage and build upon the company’s success as a leader in the automotive aftermarket accessories market.”

Deschenes added, “We are enthused by the resources that will be available to Rampage and we believe that the combination will benefit both organizations.”

Mitch Fogle, president and CEO of Lund, said, “We believe that the Jeep market will continue its robust growth for a long period, and the combination of Lund and Rampage will allow us to further benefit from this trend. This acquisition is highly strategic and complementary to Lund’s existing product offerings, and it should position Lund at the forefront of the Jeep product category.”

Jeff Hull, chairman of Lund and managing partner of Highlander, added, “This acquisition, Lund’s fourth since Highlander acquired the company in 2011, reconfirms our strategy of executing strategic add-on acquisitions that enhance and expand Lund’s existing business and product offerings. Rampage is a company known for its innovation and quality, a culture similar to Lund’s, and we are excited about the combined portfolio of current and future products. Consistent with the past, we plan to leverage the strength of our brand and distribution capabilities to ensure Rampage’s products reach an even broader audience. We continue to evaluate numerous other organic and M&A opportunities, and expect to make additional acquisitions going forward.”
