KYB Americas Launches New Stability Control and Sales Training Program

Stability control and sales training programs are administered by qualified KYB ride control specialists in live classroom sessions or interactive online webinars in the U.S. and Canada. At the end of the program, attendees can expect to have a better understanding of the true purpose of shocks and struts, a belief in the value of maintaining vehicle-designed control and communication techniques to explain these important points to the motorist, the company says.

ADDISON, Ill. – KYB Americas Corp. has launched a new stability control and sales training program for service providers. KYB Americas says the program was created, in part, to address the rapid increase of strut-equipped vehicles and the higher cost of replacing them, which has made it more difficult for the service provider to earn the sale.

Training includes shock and strut technical information, how to evaluate shock and strut performance and how to easily communicate the purpose and value of maintaining vehicle-designed ride control performance to their customers.

“As a manufacturer, it’s vital to consider the knowledge and training needs of our distribution and service provider customers,” said KYB Director of Marketing and Training Mac McGovern. “We spearheaded our stability control and sales training program to supplement KYB’s superior product, with knowledge and communication tools the service provider can use to create sales opportunities in their shop.”
