The expansion will create about 50 new jobs within the next three years, with needs ranging from skilled labor to engineers.

ADDISON, Ill. – KYB Americas Corp., a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of shocks, struts and hydraulic components, and a global leader in ride control technology, has announced the expansion of the KYB Manufacturing facility in Franklin, Ind. The 45,900-square-foot expansion will house the latest in shock and strut assembly, machining and quality control equipment.

The company says this expansion underscores KYB Americas’ commitment to additional aftermarket production capacity in North America. The expansion will create about 50 new jobs within the next three years, with needs ranging from skilled labor to engineers.

“We’re really excited about the expansion of our operations and manufacturing capabilities in the U.S.,” said KYB Americas Vice President Mike Fiorito. “This expansion is all a part of our continued growth plan. By increasing our manufacturing capacity in the U.S. and North America, we will be able to more effectively serve our customers in the form of additional inventory and new product part numbers. Also, an additional benefit is we’re bringing jobs to the U.S.A.”
