FONTANA, CA — Kumho Tire USA is kicking off the spring and summer sales seasons with a sweepstakes designed to promote the ECSTA ASX, the company’s new ultra-high performance all-season tire. The sweepstakes will give away more than 1,100 prizes, with the grand prize a customized MINI Cooper S. Other prizes include 10 sets of ECSTA ASX tires, 100 roadside emergency kits and 1,000 KUMHO CD cases.
The MINI Cooper S, valued at $25,000 will include aftermarket extras such as a set of Kumho ECSTA ASX tires; 17-inch BBS wheels; a Supersprint performance exhaust system; a PROMINI racing filter, stress bar and instrument console; H&R performance springs and sway bars; and high performance plug wires, cross drilled rotors, stainless steel brake lines and performance brake pads from BMP Design.
Kumho is supporting the event with promo kits that include tire inserts, banners and counter cards with entry forms. The free promo kits were sent out to KUMHO dealers this week.
“We’ve taken a new direction with our marketing efforts in 2004 and are focusing on grassroots motorsports and the UHP market,” said Mike Leverington, director of marketing for Kumho TIRE U.S.A. “We’ve previously conducted sales promos but have never done a sweepstakes like this. Our dealers are excited because it helps create additional excitement for the KUMHO brand.”
The ASXTREME Sweepstakes will run from now through Sept. 30, and no purchase is necessary to enter. Consumers can pick up entry forms at any of the more than 3,000 KUMHO tire dealers across the U.S.
