KOI Auto Parts Names Rotary Lift Equipment Vendor Of The Year

The award recognizes a manufacturer's product quality, sales and service support, inventory supply speed and sales volume. KOI's Rotary Lift product sales jumped 50 percent in 2012 over the prior year.

MADISON, Ind. – For providing exceptional support in all phases of the distribution process in 2012, Rotary Lift was named Equipment Vendor of the Year by KOI Auto Parts. KOI is a leading automotive parts provider in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia.

The award recognizes a manufacturer’s product quality, sales and service support, inventory supply speed and sales volume. KOI’s Rotary Lift product sales jumped 50 percent in 2012 over the prior year.

“We are proud to have a relationship with Rotary Lift,” said Bill Beckman, general manager of KOI’s equipment and tool division. “The enthusiasm and work ethic displayed by everyone throughout the organization is unmatched. They support their distributors by offering some of the best training and resources available, while backing everything up withinnovative products.”

Beckman said Rotary Lift’s new Shockwave-equipped lifts helped drive the company’s sales increase last year. Shockwave lifts increase technician efficiency and bay productivity with the fastest rise and descent times in the industry. The patent-pending Shockwave lift package was introduced in late 2011.

“If I call with a Shockwave question, I get an answer or returned call the same day,” said Beckman. “That’s rare in this industry and shows how dedicated and knowledgeable these people are.”

Rotary Lift’s Jim Dirksen, vice president of sales and marketing, and Ken McWilliams, regional sales manager, accepted the award Jan. 10 in Cincinnati, Ohio, prior to the opening of the annual KOI Cavalcade of Customs. The event featured more than 500 custom cars, hot rods and motorcycles, and three days of automotive service training.

“We’re honored by the recognition, but know we wouldn’t be where we are today without first-class distributors like KOI,” said McWilliams. “It’s encouraging to see how well the Shockwave-equipped lifts have been received and I think they will be even more popular in 2013.”

The 2012 award was the first Rotary Lift has received from KOI, which also recognized its top aftermarket and paint/body/collision vendors at the Cavalcade of Customs. KOI is an exclusive Rotary Lift ServAll distributor offering preventative maintenance contracts, lift inspections, field service and repairs.
