RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Ken Kee, vice president of sales, Dayco Products Inc./Mark IV Automotive, has been selected to represent the Manufacturers Advisory Council (MAC) of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) on the Board of Governors of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). AASA is the aftermarket market segment association of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).

Kee is the first to hold this new position on the AASA board. It was created to foster communications between the AWDA and AASA boards. The outgoing AWDA MAC chairman will fill the AASA board position each year.

“We welcome this opportunity to work closely with our colleagues at AWDA,” said Paul Foley, AASA vice president. “In today’s competitive, fast-paced business environment, communication with industry peers is crucial to success,” he added.

AASA was organized in 2002 by MEMA as its aftermarket segment association to serve manufacturers of aftermarket components, tools and equipment, and related products. For more information, visit: www.aftermarketsuppliers.org.
