Katech Receives ISO 9001 Certification

"Our strategy is to integrate our 40-year legacy of developing and building high-performance motorsports engines with our substantial knowledge of the vehicle aftermarket to expand our base of corporate clients," said Steve Spurr, CEO of Katech.

Katech has announced that it has received ISO 9001:2015 Certification for the manufacture of precision-machined parts to customer specifications, specializing in engine and vehicle components.

Performance Review Institute (PRI), located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, issued the certification. PRI is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).

“Our strategy is to integrate our 40-year legacy of developing and building high-performance motorsports engines with our substantial knowledge of the vehicle aftermarket to expand our base of corporate clients,” said Steve Spurr, CEO of Katech.

“Our state-of-the-art CNC facility has been focused on machining one-off designs and small runs of prototypes that assist clients with design revisions, functionality reviews, and cost-reduction strategies,” said Spurr. “ISO certification allows us to serve these clients, and more, with volume production.”

The registration is for a single-site quality management system, resident at Katech’s world headquarters in the Greater Detroit community of Clinton Township, Michigan.
