Jack Stack to Keynote Remanufacturing Summit

Jack Stack, president and chief operating officer of SRC Holdings Corp. in Springfield, MO, will keynote the second annual Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit to be held on Jan. 21, 2008, just prior to the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Las Vegas. Stack will discuss the challenges and opportunities the next decade will bring for remanufacturing.

CHANTILLY, VA – Jack Stack, president and chief operating officer of SRC Holdings Corp. in Springfield, MO, will keynote the second annual Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit to be held on Jan. 21, 2008, just prior to the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Las Vegas. Stack will discuss the challenges and opportunities the next decade will bring for remanufacturing.

SRC has started, invested and acquired 48 businesses over the past 25 years, ranging from engine manufacturing to service enterprises. SRC has annual sales of more than $300 million and currently employees 1,200 people.

In 1983, Stack and the SRC employees bought the company from International Harvester and have turned it into what INC. magazine has proclaimed, “one of America’s most competitive small companies.” Stack is the author of the book, “The Great Game of Business,” published in 1992. SRC has received both the National Business Ethics Award and the Business Enterprise Trust Award. SRC was also selected as one of the Top 100 Companies to work for in America. Stack’s second book, A Stake in the Outcome, was published in March, 2002.

Stack is a judge and a past recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Institute and has served as an advisor for this group since 1998. INC. magazine has called him the “smartest strategist in America” and named him one of the 25 entrepreneurs selected to represent the 25 years INC. has been published. He was also listed among the “top 10 minds in small business” in Fortune Small Business magazine.
