Honeywell Friction Materials Launches Stop By Honeywell Brake Pad Line

According to Honeywell, the Stop brand offers a high-value brake pad with a competitive price for today's do-it-yourselfers and repair technicians seeking a brake pad engineered for safety and consistent, reliable performance.

TROY, Mich. – Honeywell Friction Materials, known for its Bendix and JURID brake products, has just unveiled its newest brake pad line, called Stop.

According to Honeywell, the Stop brand offers a high-value brake pad with a competitive price for today’s do-it-yourselfers and repair technicians seeking a brake pad engineered for safety and consistent, reliable performance. The new Stop line is designed to meet original equipment (OE) specifications for fit, form and function and is backed by more than 100,000 hours of product and vehicle testing annually.

In applying best practices as a leading global OE supplier, Honeywell includes all the recommended brake hardware in the box for Stop to reduce installation time, improve bay efficiency and restore OE performance.

“We understand that today’s motorists must have access to a wide variety of brake pad offerings – from economy to ultra-premium – that meet their varying needs,” said Grif Jordan, product marketing manager at Honeywell Friction Materials. “Our new Stop brake pad line clearly addresses the performance and safety demands of today’s motorists who may be maintaining late model cars but still want value and security in their brake pad choice.”

Additional benefits of the Stop brake pad line include:
· OE positive mold-technology to ensure consistent performance
· Application specific shims, slots and chamfers to reduce noise and eliminate comebacks
· New abutment kits and spreader springs that restore OE performance
